How to execute a DTS Package from inside a job

Good day!

Just wanted to ask how can I execute a DTS package from inside a scheduled job.

I have 3 DTS Package, so instead of scheduling the 3 package separately...I created a job to execute the 3 packages in a single scheduled time.

My syntax inside the command window is:
EXEC DTSPackageName

But its not working.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

or go to run --> dtsrunui --> advanced and generate the code to be put into the SQL Job. Do this for each package and then just copy and paste each of the code into the job steps.|||Hi!

I just did what you instructed me. But a syntax error occurred.
This is what i've pasted in the job step.

DTSRun /S "SQL2K-VBP" /N "FFPJLC_TO_CMS" /G "{7DE00045-4E3C-445D-A0B7-BA95370EB072}" /W "0" /E

Look up DTSRun in Books OnLine. When you set up the job step, make it an "operating system command". Here is an example (/E means trusted login
i.e. Windows authentication):

DTSRun /S ServerName /N "DTS Job Name" /E|||Hi!

How to ensure that connection is made through internet instead of WAN ?

I am programming a VB-SQL Server 2K application which connects the clients
to the database through the internet. While I am testing the application
within a LAN in which the database server as well as the client connect to
the internet through a router I can't ensure that the client connects to the
database through the internet. In case I disconnect the internet WAN
connection, the application still is able to work. So the connection must be
through the LAN I guess. However, after a short while, the application is
not able to work and displays error messages concerning that it could not
establish a connection, which I had expected right after the disconnection.
Any suggestion how I can ensure that the client within the LAN connects to
the server through the internet ?
In the connection I used the following code :

DB.Properties("Data Source").Value = "80.123.12.123,1433" '"DATASERVER"

connection over the internet.

OS level procesing.
One thing that you might try is looking at your gateway configuration, if
you set the metric on
the WAN segment higher than the internet segment (if possible given your
network topology)
then the OS should pick the internet segment instead of the LAN.

How to enable "Force Encryption" for SQL Server 2005?

I need to enable "Force Encryption" for SQL Server 2005 by API instead of by hand, but I don't know which API can do it. I need to operate remote SQL server , so I cannot operate registry directly to do it. Who can help me?
